Beyoncé’s self titled masterpiece

10/10 — check out my short video analysis, https://youtu.be/FEB-YtvqaIw?si=QwsKHy20gkf-oWjA

Her most vulnerable album, that also changed the game with Friday drop, Is my favorite by far by Beyoncé.

I’m gonna start off with some of my favorites:

  • Blow (Remix)

  • Haunted

  • Jealous

  • Mine feat. drake

  • Drunk in love feat. Jay-z

  • Blue

When I get into my astrology, Beyonce and I both have Scorpio moons (TWIN) and this is a SCORPIO MOON ALBUM.

She really goes in depth about who she is, and what insecurities she’s gone through and what’s she’s lost, and what she’s gained. She goes into her relationship issues and it really unveils not just Beyonce but Beyonce Giselle Knowles really.

More vulnerable than Lemonade, and also a visual album .. there’s so many different styles of R&B on this one album. I don’t think she’ll ever top the authenticity of this album, If we’re talking about album that feels like BEYONCÉ this is for sure the one.

My two FAVORITE tracks are Mine and Jealous, I feel a personal connection to both of those songs (more jealous than mine) because Beyoncé is really possessive, she LOVES love, but it’s like undying love.

I also think the album dropped at a very pivotal time in my life, I was still a young teenager but I was just getting into my love for modern music. Beyoncé’s B’Day was the CD I was playing consistently. As a young girl, I was super obsessed with music that was released before I was born or when I was little.

Self titled was a true game changer. The surprise drop shocked us all. Even more for me than it did with Lemonade.

So, while I’m gathering my info for Beyoncè’s Holy Trinity. Self Titled will be there. Stay tuned for the next two albums and the final Holy Trinity article. Of course Alicia Keys will be getting one.

Thanks for reading ⭐️!
